Quick update

This will be a short update, but I wanted to let everyone know that we have updated pictures on our Picasa site and will continue to do so over the coming weeks. If you haven't been to it before, go to www.picasaweb.google.com/mattsarahandcorrie (although, we'll probably have to change the name now that we've added another member to our family!).
We have done really well since arriving home Saturday afternoon. Daddy and Cindy had the house spic and span for us, Corrie taken well care of, and Katherine had gotten us some groceries and made a delicious Chicken Pot Pie that we ate for dinner that night! It is such a relief to come home and not have to think about all the chores that need to be done when all I want to do is sleep! Roger and Teressa are staying with us this week and they have been taking cooking and Corrie responsibilities along with other chores. It's nice, too, to ease into full-time care of a husband, two children, and our house by having help here!
Avery has had a little trouble with nursing and learning how to latch on, but I think she is doing better and is definitely getting enought to eat (her poops and pees are a reflection!). She is a really good baby and only fusses when she's hungry. Our nights have been interesting because we're adjusting to hearing little baby noises all night, and she has been more fussy from about midnight to 3 am. We've been taking shifts to stay sane and get some sleep, and we seem to be in a pretty good routine for now.
Corrie already loves her little sister! Every morning and after nap, Corrie has asked, "See Corrie's baby sister?" We go to see her and she immediately wants to hold her and give her hugs and kisses. She even sings to her when Avery's crying.
Matt and I are amazed that God has blessed us with two beautiful, healthy little girls. He has impressed on us Psalm 127:3-5 "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with him!" We truly are blessed with these precious lives. Pray that God gives us the grace to parent them well, and gives them the grace to know and follow Him wholeheartedly one day.
