Corrie is admittedly does not enjoy sports and can sometimes be fearful of trying new things, but she had an opportunity to join an Upward Basketball team at a church nearby with two of her friends from Renewal two weeks ago. Before she would commit, we went to the first game for her to watch, then she went to a practice with the team and Matt took her to the Y a few times to practice with her and she finally decided she wanted to try it! We are so proud of her for trying something new and can't wait to see how she grows and matures with this experience!
