Moving On

We have officially made it through our first month as nomads! And, thanks to God's goodness to us, we didn't just "make it through" we had a great time with family and friends and experienced God's blessing during our time in Columbia! Growing up in a close family (even extended family) makes it difficult living even a few hours away, so I enjoyed being able to see them frequently and spend good time with them. We did some fun things like going to the Columbia zoo with my mom's sister and her husband, and we spent a great time with my parents and sister on Lake Wateree for Fourth of July! I've posted quite a few of those pictures on our Picasa site (www.picasaweb.google.com/mattsarahandcorrie) and some below.

Our purpose for the summer is to raise prayer and financial support for Renewal Church, which will be starting this fall. God has mightily provided and we are currently 75% of the way to our goal! God continually confirms our call to the upstate and we are excited about being there to get started. We are now in Rock Hill, SC, living with Matt's parents so that we can raise support with our friends here. Please be praying for us - that we would look to the Lord for our strength and patience during this time of transition, and for our friends in Rock Hill - that they would be faithful to give when God calls them.

Thank you so much for the emails and facebook messages of encouragement and prayer! I love and miss you!
