Matt's mom made this outfit before she knew we were having a lion party - perfect!
Hudson's lion cake
Lion sandwiches - You could choose chicken salad or PB&J, top with raisans or grapes to make a face, and add shredded cheese, apples, or carrots for the mane. My dad added pasta salad at the bottom to make it look like the lion was lying in the grass. :)
The girls loved Hudson's toys as much as he did!

Enjoying the cake
Avery enjoyed the cake as well (as she always does whatever food she's consuming, but especially cake) :)
We enjoyed a sweet time the weekend before as we committed to raising Hudson in a way that would lift high the good and glorious gospel in hopes that he would put his faith in Jesus. We pray daily that God would see fit to save Hudson and trust in His goodness and faithfulness from generation to generation.
"He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God but keep His commandments." Psalm 78:5-7
