December brought lots of down time and fun with our biological family and with our church family, who really have become family to us. God's faithfulness to us in placing a staff around us who love the Lord, seek after Him wholeheartedly, and love the body well is a great gift to us and we are so thankful for them. At Crosspoint, Robin Lewis always threw a classy Christmas party for the staff that always made me feel special, and we tried to do the same for our staff this year. We enjoyed a nice dinner together, a Christmas "Minute to Win It" game, and a competitive White Elephant gift exchange. The fun and laughter overflowed!

After our White Elephant exchange Toby & Hugh ended up with the exact same gift - aromatherapy hand lotion and soap. They were thrilled with their gifts as we could tell by how aggresively they tried to get rid of them. :) (Toby & Julieann Dix, Hugh & Hollie Carson)

Another gift of God's faithfulness and grace to us is our amazing small group. These men and women that we meet with weekly to talk about Scripture, apply Scripture, fight sin, serve beside, and live in community with are one of the greatest blessings we have in church planting! We also enjoyed a dinner & gift exchange with them, as well as some crazy fun with a few Minute to Win It games. :) I don't think I've laughed as much in quite a long time!
Most of our small group!
