Thanksgiving

Thank you to all who were praying for my dad over Thanksgiving. He came home the day after Thanksgiving and returned to work on Monday. The clots are still there and will take a few months to dissolve, but the blood thinner is working and should be flowing around the clots so that they aren't pushed to other areas of his body. Please continue to pray for him. His ordeal did make me more thankful for the time that the Lord gives us with friends and family and has challenged me to not take that for granted but to make the most of every opportunity. My heart echoes the Psalmist, "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever!" He is so good to me and I am undeserving of His goodness. He saved me from my slavery to sin and has turned my heart to Him when I was His enemy. He's blessed me with an amazing husband who loves Him and seeks to serve Him with his heart, soul, mind, and strength. And He's blessed me with two children and allowed me to experience the joy of being a mother. How good and loving is my God!
